After hundreds of cars and trucks came on board in Igoumenitsa, nighttime could finally begin. Meanwhile the ferry is 2.5 hours behind the schedule. However, the passage is very pleasant, everything is tidy and neat. There must be a reason ANEK Line was awarded the Passenger Line of the Year 2008 (Lloyd's List). German tourists in Killini told us that Minoan Lines is way different.

At 14:30h we arrive . But since the ferry is so full of vehicles, it takes very long for the first cars to roll off the deck backwards. Then it takes endlessly passing through Ancona to the autobahn, in a queue. As late as 17:30h we finally are on the autostrada. Now we keep towards Bologna and spend the night at a resting place.
