the car park of Bovo Marina
We begin the new year in the rain. But as for the rainy days we so far had had on Sicily island, we can count them on one hand. Really not bad, the weather has been so far. But who knows how the weather will be like in January and February? It may turn much colder. The afternoon gets better so that we can sit outside. There we get into talking with a couple from Munich, whose motorhome, like ours, is their only home year round. They have been doing so for two years and they would never have guessed just how many like-minded people they would meet who solely live in their motorhomes. They had expected to be rather exotic, living in a motorhome. We stand outdoors and keep talking. Well, it feels wonderful to listen to the Bavarian language after so long a time. We finally swap some books although they just have some thrillers for us. But anyway. It gets colder outside by the minute and Annette wonders why the woman doesn't feel cold at all? When we get back on board at 17:00h, the rain soon sets in again. We leaf through the new books and listen to the radio all evening. Today, in Italy, they say Buon Anno, have a good year.
