At about noon, our son-in-law rings us: The baby was born an hour ago. It's a
boy, but we have known it to be a boy for many weeks. The child is in good
health, and there is nothing missing. However, Herbert's should stay in the
hospital another night. Even her husband can spend the night in the same room
with her and the baby. It is very very exciting when we visit them late
afternoon. The little one has a head full of hair. Not only was the baby born
on a Sunday, but also on such a funny date: 10-10-10
We are to continue our travels on 14 October and look forward to experience
Italy.
